Bleach Technique

This is a Valentine card I did using the bleach technique. I used a foam swirl stamp I purchased ages ago at WM, and the rubber I heart U stamp I recieved in a rak from my friend Ema. I used dark red and black card stock. The gold heart is a button purchased from I don't remember where as well as the fiber. The mini brads are MM and ink is Palette black.
I find using a foam stamp works better than a regular rubber stamp for me. I guess it's because the foam is thicker and sucks a bleach more. I am really pleased how my back ground paper turned out and the card as a whole.
This is only my third attempt using this technique it is a little smelly but the results are awesome.
TIPS: If you can't wash your stamp right away have a little bowel with water ( just enough to cover the rubber not go up to the adhesive part) and place your stamp there till you can wash it.
And as I always due when working with a new technique play a little experiment before you do your final project. I did 2 back ground papers before this one.
Hope you enjoyed my card and thanks for looking. Have a great day and GOD BLESS,
Lee

Here is another card I just finished for another swap. The design belongs to my cousin Deb, I just enhanced it by stamping the red crd. stck. with Autumn Leaves "swirl stamp" have I mentioned how wonderful these stamps are. The ribbon is offray and I can't at the moment remember the brads. The large L is from hero stamps if I am correct which I stamped on Bo Bunny Press pp, this is one of my all time favorite paper lines. Sorry to say here in PR it is hard to find.
The thing I like most about this design was it looks great was fast and is very easy to change the look of the card. Thanks Deb for letting me use your design.

This is a very simple LO I did, sometimes less is more. The handsome guy in the photo belongs to my aunt and uncle, his name is Gus.

January 14. 2008

This is a pocket card I did for another swap all it is missing is the sucker to tuck into the pocket.

These are 2x2 embelishment I did for "Valentines". I really enjoyed creating these and used my new stamps from Autumn Leaves "Swirls" these are great stamps and very good quality and paper from my Bo Bunny stash my all time favorite manufacturer.

Here is a post of a Licensed swap I did. I chose Hello Kitty and did ATC's. Been awhile since I have done ATC's, but they turned out ok.
